The TVP Technology Voucher Program can earn up to HKD$600,000 funding
Local enterprises/organizations applying for TVP funding must meet the following requirements –
(a)(i) registered in Hong Kong under the Business Registration Ordinance (Cap. 310); or
(a)(ii) a company incorporated in Hong Kong under the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622); or
(a)(iii) a statutory body established in Hong Kong under the relevant Ordinance; and
(b) is not a listed company in Hong Kong, nor is it a government-subvented organization or a subsidiary of any government-subvented organization3; and
(c) and have substantive business operations in Hong Kong at the time of application submission, and the business must be related to the application project.
Technology Voucher Programme (TVP)
TVP launched in November 2016, the "Technology Voucher" aims to support local enterprises/institutions to use technological services and solutions to improve productivity or upgrade and transform business processes. What are Technology Vouchers?
The TVP Technology Voucher Program (TVP) was established by the Hong Kong Government's Innovation and Technology Fund with an allocation of 500 million yuan. The main purpose of the Technology Voucher is to subsidize small and medium-sized enterprises in Hong Kong to enhance their competitiveness through the use of technological services and solutions, thereby promoting social development. The Technology Voucher Pilot Scheme will be implemented for the first time for 3 years. The Technology Voucher Program started accepting applications in November 2016. From March 2019, the government will incorporate the Technology Voucher Application Program into the Innovation and Technology Fund for regularization. The amount of funding will be increased from HK$200,000 to HK$400,000. From April 2020, the application limit will be raised to HK$600,000, and the funding ratio will be increased to 75%. The TVP application program has so far approved more than 1,000 technology projects (2019 data), with an amount exceeding 100 million yuan. More than 50% of them are funding "Enterprise Resource Planning" or related projects.

How to submit a TVP application?Applications can be submitted through the TVP Program Management System. Applicants who encounter difficulties in submitting applications through the above systems and need assistance may contact the Innovation and Technology Commission.

Can more than one application form be submitted to TVP at the same time?Only one TVP application can be submitted at a time. New applications can only be submitted after applicants have completed previously approved projects and submitted project final reports.

What types of projects can be funded by TVP?Technology vouchers provide funding to projects that use technology services and solutions to help applicants increase productivity or upgrade and transform business processes. A list of typical technology services and/or solutions covered by TVP is available at Appendix II of the Application Guide. Applicants can propose other technological services and solutions that can achieve the goals of the Technology Voucher. ITC will consider applications on a case-by-case basis. The applicant's use of the project results should have a direct impact on its business operations in Hong Kong.
